The Deddingtons were a British guitar based band, formed in the late 1980's playing their own unique style of Indie Jangle Pop.
This group of urban troubadours of no fixed hairstyle, recently reformed and have a retrospective album out
All tracks were recorded in "The Loft" home recording studio - following up on a request for more material from of the Head of A&R at WEA Records, 75 Rockefeller Plaza, New York.
Unfortunately, whilst the new songs were being produced, Mr Head of A&R left WEA Records - resulting in the final recordings being stored for prosperity on a DAT tape in Matt's spare room.
However, without the bands knowledge - one of the tracks from their demo "The Last Day" was released in
June 2003 on The Sound of Leamington Spa Volume 3 - compilation CD.
The Deddingtons CD was pressed in 2012 and interest in the band rekindled. Some of the interviews, reviews and more obscure links have been compiled here: The Deddingtons Archive
